1. What is all about? How does LPC Web protect my .NET code?

Licensor Web Chameleon comes in a fully obfuscated, strong named DLL format.

It is Licensor Professional Chameleon with the additional option of combining the user's hardware based license with a time period limit of usage!

Everytime the user executes your licensed application, the DLL connects to our Server and determines if the license is still valid,
based on our Server's DateTime and Not on the user's System's DateTime!

In this way it's impossible for the user to trick the time limit license detection mechanism by changing his System's DateTime!

2. How can I download and start using it in my code? What's the cost?

To download LPC's Web DLL you will need to Register first as a FULL, LIGHT or FREE LPC Web User depending on your needs...

(You'll be asked to login to the System by using your Username, Password pair that you received during the Registration process...)

3. All right I'm already an LPC Web Registered user! How can I get Support?
After registration you can get Support for your product by pressing the corresponding LPC's Web Support

button.

First you'll be faced by a Login Screen where you must provide your Username and your Password* and press 'Login'.

* Your Username and Password were revealed to you when you registered

After that you'll be faced by the main LPC Web Support Page Screen:

First thing to do here is to Buy some extra licenses. These licenses will allow you to unlock
your LPC Web locked application on your end users machines for the time period you'll decide!

Suppose that a user of your LPC Web locked application runs it for the first time on his computer.
What will happen is that a Message Box will appear instructing him to e-mail you his Machine Code:

After he presses the mailto:info@info.com (- which is actually your support e-mail address you've provided in your code -) link,
an e-mail popup msgbox will appear ready to be send to you with all the necessery information already filled:

All he has to do is to press the 'Send E-mail' button and ask you to create for him a license that
will unlock your application on his computer for the time period you'll specify.

After the reception of his e-mail you come here to the LPC's Web Support page and press the 'Create a New license' button.
Here you must Paste your user's Machine Code In the textbox that appears and choose
the Number of days the license (- to be created for this Machine Code -) will be valid:

and press the 'Activate License' button to create it. Having done that your end user will be able to run
your application on his computer for the time period you've specified and will never bother you again
unless one or more of the locked Hardware components of his computer change!
In that case he will have to ask for a new license and you'll have to repeat the above procedure...

You have at any time total control on the history of the licenses you've created through the 'View list of created licenses' button:

and finally you can Search for and find a created license by providing it's relevant Machine Code through the use of the 'Search for a license' button:
